Introduction
|
The Bathurst and District Bridge Club Website went live
on the 27th March 2005. A major upgrade occurred in the first
half of 2009.

Intended Audience
|
It has been developed for club members
and prospective visitors.
For club members, the website contains the results of all
local sessions and congresses. Members can find details of
their membership, including their current masterpoints.
For prospective visitors, including participants in the Bathurst
Congress, the website contains directions to the club, session
times, and information about the club.

Design
|
It is assumed that many users will be using slower PCs and internet
connections. Hence, the website has been kept simple and
light-weight.
The menu contains links to all pages, so that all information is
easy to find. Pictures are kept to a minumum and small.

Technical Details
|
The website has been based on the
2005 Bathurst Wireless website.
The code was written using
SciTE.
The website is hosted at
NameCheap.
The scripting is server-side, using
PHP5.
The database, for the storage of members details, etc is
mySQL.
The website has been developed by Greg Vinall for
V Software.
