Band- There are many bands at Pavlova High and we encourage our students to join them, and have fun! The main bands are Concert Band, where the students play a range of pieces and styles, Got That Swing, the whole school jazz band, and Choir, where students sing a variety of songs and solos. There is also the year bands- Sevens for year 7, Rate for year 8, Nine Time for year 9, and other years. If students wish to learn an instrument at school, they may take time off classes to learn. If the school doesn't have the instrument they will go half and half with the parents of the student.

Sport- There is a range of sporting teams that students may take part in. Each year can participate in: Ice Hockey (There is an ice-rink at the school)

The school has a range of sporting facilities that are available at all times to students and teachers of Pavlova High. Some of these facilities are an ice rink, tennis courts, swimming pool, gymnasium, bike track, quad and an oval.

Horse Riding-Horses are kept at a stable right next to the school and students can ride during sport, recess or lunch. There is an enclosed area within the oval but it is quite small and Pavlova High recommends you use the stables riding grounds.

Public Speaking-Pavlova High runs inter-school competitions which students are required to enter, and also enters it's students in state and national competitions.

Pavlova Press-Pavlova Press is the school newspaper. It is run exactly like any other paper, with sections like News, Sport, Fun Page and Gossip. Each bit of the newspaper is run by a different year.
