Hello! This is all the information we couldn't fit into other categories. Hopefully it has everything you need to know. Pavlova High General Information Pavlova High is located on a beach near Sydney. It takes about 1000 students every year, and about 100 of those students stay at the boarding house. Hopefully you will be one of those students! Remember-Try Your Best! Pavlova High was founded on the 6th of March, 1985. Since then it has become one of the most popular schools in NSW. It has always been a mixed school with roughly half girls and half boys. Technologies at Pavlova High
Pavlova High uses a range of updated technology. We try to have everything our students need. For each couple of rooms there is a computer lab, with an estimated 20 computers in each. All computers have broadband, and there is a mixture of XP's and Apples. Printers, scanners and copiers are used and available to students at no extra cost. Our computers have all the current programs that are used and are constantly updated to suit our students. Each student has a school email address which teachers cannot read. No websites are banned, we believe that what students wish to look at is their, and their parents, buisness. However, if students are looking at alternate sites while they are supposed to be doing their work, (apart from music sites), they will be taken off the computer. Naturally there is more than just computers at Pavlova High. Each three rooms have an accessible TV/Video/DVD systems that they can use for class and also at lunchtimes. For more advanced classes there are video cameras, digital cameras and video conferencing. Each subject is well equipped for it's needs.
